THE SALE OF THIS PURE BRED SHIH TZU PUPPY IS MADE UPON THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1.)The purchase price of the puppy / dog is $__________+g.s.t.$______ = $ _________with limited / full registration as defined by the
Canadian Kennel Club. A deposit of 25% of the price of the puppy is required $______ and is non-refundable.
Sale will be terminated if all costs pertaining to the sale are not received by the seller at the time the puppy is 8 weeks of age.
2.)To the best of the sellers knowledge and belief, this puppy is in sound health, free from any symptoms of contagious and / or infectious diseases at the time
the puppy is released to the buyer . We do our utmost to release your puppy to you clean and in good health. No further health guarantee is made nor implied.
The buyer agrees to have the aforementioned puppy examined by a licensed, practising veterinarian of buyers choice and at the buyers expense, within 2 working days of possession of the puppy. Failure of the buyer to do this will void this guarantee
We offer an 18 month guarantee (from date of birth) against hereditary and/or congenital diseases which cause death or recommended euthanasia
by a competent, licensed and practising veterinarian, only if the puppy is thoroughly checked by a licensed and practising veterinarian within 48 hours of
you receiving the puppy. A necropsy report and verification on your veterinarian’s letterhead and signed by him / her will be required stating the defect
and his/her findings. The seller should be notified immediately and this report should be received by our vet,
Dr. Jodi Silvernagle , Animal Care Centre of Strathmore, 403-901-1800, within 24 hours of diagnosis.
No puppy will be replaced if euthanized without DBJ’s permission. If Dr. Jodi Silvernagle concurs with your veterinarian , we will be obligated to replace
the puppy with one of the same gender within 6 months, as we do not have puppies available at all times. If we cannot replace the puppy within the 6 month
period the buyer will have the choice of waiting longer for the same color, size, gender of the puppy, choose one of the available puppies or a full refund of the
price of the puppy only. We will not be responsible for any other monetary fees or charges regarding this matter.
Other than the terms stated above, we do not make any further guarantees
.3.)As of the date of release to the buyer, the aforementioned puppy has received all proper ,timely vaccinations and de-worming. The buyer receives a record
of these with the puppy . The buyer agrees to have the puppy vaccinated and examined as the buyer’s veterinarian prescribes and records shall be kept by
the buyer. This guarantee does not cover hypoglycemia or diseases that vaccinations aid in preventing. For your puppy’s safety, until his full vaccination
protocol is finished (16 weeks of age) please do not allow your puppy to be around other puppies or dogs, in pet stores, dog parks, doggie day care or
highly populated pet areas.
4.)The buyer agrees to continue the puppy’s current food intake for 4-6 weeks after possession date and should only change the food in a safe manner as prescribed
by their veterinarian. Diarrhea sometimes occurs due to stress : moving etc.
5.) The color of the puppy and the size the puppy matures to is only an estimate based on the sellers experience and traits recognition.
No guarantees are made to adult color or size.
6.)A non-breeding agreement shall be signed by buyers and limited registration certificate will be released only after signed documentation by a licensed and
practising veterinarian of spay/ neuter of the aforementioned puppy is received by seller.. If a puppy is sold with full C.K.C. Registration,
the seller cannot and does not guarantee the fertility of either the female or male puppy. It is virtually impossible to guarantee breeding or show success.
It is the buyers sole responsibility for bills incurred from breeding or showing the aforementioned puppy.
7.)Shipping is at the buyers expense and must be calculated and received by seller, by the time the aforementioned puppy is 8 weeks of age to allow time
to book the flight and make arrangements (see contact us and purchase info page on website ).
Puppies are not released to the buyer before minimum 10 weeks of age (no exceptions); 12 weeks of age and a minimum weight of 3 # if the puppy is
being shipped. We do not fly our puppies in inclement weather however, in some cases or circumstances, the puppy is hand-delivered for a nominal fee.
The seller will not assume any shipping costs associated with the sale or replacement guarantee.
8.)Buyer agrees that no charge backs will be filed through credit card companies or Paypal on this transaction for any reason. If using Paypal for deposit
and / or payment, the buyer is responsible for the fee charged by Paypal and should add 3.5% for each transaction to the payment.
Payment methods are cash, certified cheques or Paypal(+3.5%)
9.) The seller assumes no responsibility for medical expenses, mortality, landlords disapproval , allergies or any other undesirable circumstances
once the dog has left the sellers premises.
10.)This guarantee applies to the original buyer only and is not transferrable if puppy is resold. We cannot and will not sell or register a puppy to
anyone under the age of 18 years.
11.)Any disputes will be litigated in Calgary, Alberta, Canada at the buyers expense.
